Review - what we think
Based on a lighter, lower profile design than many of its partners in Hoka’s road-running range, the Clifton still offers the same incredible cushioning that’s to be expected from this brand, at an almost impossibly light weight.
The upper consists of a stripped-down speedframe with an ultra thin tongue to reduce weight. This, combined with early stage Meta-Rocker geometry in thesole, serves to provide a fluid and efficient ride for those up-tempo runs.
The HIP CMEVA midsole in the Clifton is more flexible than in other models in order to encourage more free foot motion for higher speeds, while also providing the cushioning needed for those longer distance runs. If you want to take the feeling of running on grass with you to the concrete then look no further than the Clifton.
We gave the Clifton an 8/10 in it's category...
